Top Gear Festival with Luke

The weekend finally came for the Top Gear Festival. Must admit I was kind of excited, was looking forward to an adrenaline pumped day out looking at insane motors.

All in all was a fantastic day out with my nephew Luke, by the end of it we were definitely 2 or 3 shades darker from all the sun. The festival was located at the Sydney Motorsport Park. There was loads to see an do, with a different section set up for Rally Cars, Drifting and Bike Stunts, Main track for a series of different shows and mini challenges, a vendor area, garage full of exotics, and then a general car show area.

Overall don't think it was worth the $79 adult entrance fee, but then again everything is pricey over here and not sure how many car show's roll through Sydney in a given year. Still had a lot of fun during the day. I think the highlight of the day was a face off between a F1 Race Car, V8 Super Car and Bike. The F1 car obviously won, but man was the sound of the 3 going by in quick succession phenomenal! Second to that was a man jumping over a lambo doing 100km/h...pretty sweet show factor.

Lamborghini Murcielago next to Jeremy Clarkson and James May, next to a guy in a blue t-shirt who just jumped over the Lambo doing 100km/h.
